 Verified The grouper sandwich was really good.  We also had shrimp skewers which were cooked perfectly.  One was blackened and the other coconut.  I preferred the blackened.  I enjoyed a local IPA which was really good.  It seems like a place for locals but our server was super nice and walked us through the menu and drinks.   It is a hole in the wall type of place you would walk past if you didn't know it was there.  It is on the inlet and is close to shops.

  Excellent customer service! Both of our servers were great… friendly, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. And the food was THE BOMB! 🔥 Easily some of the best crab cakes I’ve had in a long time. My son had the lobster roll and loved it, and even the fries tasted homemade and fresh. Everything was just pure deliciousness. Great food, great service, great experience. We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

  Pirates Pub feels like a hidden gem and a must-visit foodie spot. Everything I’ve tried there has been nothing short of delicious, and the atmosphere is exactly what I’m looking for when dining in John’s Pass. The specialty drink menu is also a fun addition to the bar menu. Maria has taken care of our table the last couple of times I've  visited, and I have to say, she makes the experience that much more fun. She remembered us from a year ago and even suggested that we sit in our same spot where we had previously devoured our burgers!
